God Eater Wiki

Abaddon is a small, piranha-like Aragami that looks similar to a Long Blade's Predator form. They are invisible on the minimap and disappear after a set time. Abaddon can and will spawn suddenly and are considered rarities like the Golden Gboro-Gboro. It flees if attacked, and it does so quickly, so it might be best to defeat it with a gun. Devouring them will net a rare Ticket item (prefixed A or F) which can be exchanged for various materials. If voice setting has been set, the operator will comment on the Abaddon's presence and defeat. So far, the Abaddon (alongside the almost identical Amor) is the smallest Aragami seen ingame, being the size of a small fridge.

Norn Database

The following information can also be found via descriptions of the Aragami found in the NORN Terminal's database.

God Eater 2 Rage Burst

A mysterious Aragami that appears without warning and disappears to parts unknown. Sightings of this Aragami are few and far between, but as of now they have reportedly never attacked a God Eater.

Their bodies contain extremely rare cores, and thus are highly sought after. However, their speed is uncanny. Pursue them at your own risk.

ATK Element: None
Weaknesses: Blaze, Freeze, Spark, Divine

Additional Information

  • The rarity of the ticket obtained (Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Black, or Diamond) is dependent on the mission rank. When appearing on the map near the player, the operator and other NPCs will comment on it.
  • Abaddon is the name of a dwelling place of the dead in the Hebrew Bible; in the New Testament, it's the name of the angel of destruction in Revelations.
  • Abaddon cannot perform any sort of attack.
  • Abaddon may flee 3 times while remaining on the map. On the fourth escape it will bury into the ground and leave the battlefield.
  • If using the skill Greedy, devouring it yields two tickets instead of one.
  • Abaddon is guaranteed to appear if a part is unbound and/or a medium or large Aragami is killed before 2 minutes have passed since the mission started.
  • If Abaddon is left alone after spawning, it will float around the map very slowly. When fleeing, however, it moves remarkably fast.
