The Blades are weapons that God Eaters strike the Aragami with. A God Arc consists of the Blade, Gun and Shield. With God Eater/God Eater Burst, the player was introduced to the Short Blade, Long Blade and Buster Blade. When God Eater 2 came out, the Boost Hammer and Charge Spear were added to the game. Then God Eater 2 Rage Burst introduced the Variant Scythe. In the sequel to God Eater 2 Rage Burst, God Eater 3 the player is introduced to the Biting Edge and the Heavy Moon, bringing the total number of blade types to 8.
