Boshoku is a large sized Aragami introduced in God Eater Resonant Ops. Boshoku is one of the seven deadly sins Aragami. He specializes in hand-to-hand combat that takes advantage of his large body. His Gluttony ability lures Aragami into a special feeding ground, grabs the Aragami with its tongue like the prey form of a divine machine, and swallows it.

Norn Database

The following information can also be found via descriptions of the Aragami found in the NORN Terminal's database.

God Eater Resonant Ops

A divine species of Aragami is made up of "retro oracle cells." Its jaws are so large that it can eat medium-sized species in one bite, and the color of its body surface changes depending on the characteristics of the Aragami it has taken in. It was discovered near the Austria branch, but the origin is unknown. It was named ``Boushoku'' because it temporarily increases the ability to eat surrounding Aragami in a special feeding ground.

You have to be careful because when Boshoku uses his Gluttony ability which summoned Aragami, it will change to attack with the same attributes as that Aragami. Also, unlike attacks, the only weak point in defense is non-attribute, but the defense power decreases while it is down. Therefore, it is preferable to form a subjugation team with members who are good at knocking down enemies or members who have effective attack methods against downed opponents.

Trivia

  • Gluttony is the overindulgence and overconsumption of anything to the point of waste. The word derives from the Latin gluttire, meaning to gulp down or swallow. One reason for its condemnation is that the gorging of the prosperous may leave the needy hungry.
