'''Blade Attacking Tips:'''<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

*<u>''Pierce/Short Blades:''</u> When using melee pierce attacks, aim for Gboro-Gboro's torso and fangs to deal above average to critical damage depending on your weapon's power.

*<u>''Sunder/Long Blades:''</u> For melee sunder attacks, your main target should be the arm fins and the tail fin. Sunder attacks to these parts deal above average to critical damage depending on your weapon's power.

*<u>''Crush/Buster Blades:''</u> For Buster Blades specializing in melee crush attacks, aim for the arm fins to deal above average damage and the cannon for guaranteed critical hits. Using Charge Crush on a Gboro-Gboro's cannon while it's down will make your life easier.

*<u>''Elemental:''</u> Using the spark element effectively augments your melee attacks against a Gboro-Gboro. Follow the tips above for each blade type to maximize your damage output.

*The best moment to melee assault a Gboro-Gboro is when they are aiming to shoot their projectiles since it has a very long delay (before and after shooting). Stay away from its front and always be alert after it shoots, as it sometimes attacks with its arm fins for a four-hit combo.

'''Gun Attacking Tips:'''<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

*<u>''Pierce/Assault and Sniper Gun:''</u> For pierce gun attacks, aiming for the back fin, torso or fangs can easily cause critical hits. "Control: Face enemy" modules will always target the back fin. Use this to your advantage when making shot or laser type bullets. You can also use Gboro-Gboro's own Aragami bullets against the body parts mentioned above as they are considered as pure pierce attribute bullets.

*<u>''Crush/Blast Gun:''</u> For crush gun attacks, targeting the arm fins or cannon will cause above average or critical hits to occur. Attack these parts with spark elemental radial bullets for maximum damage output.

*<u>''Elemental:''</u> Spark elemental bullets are most effective against a Gboro-Gboro as all of his parts have weak defense against it. If properly aimed with the right bullet type, above average to critical hits are ensured.

'''Enraged Effects:'''<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

*<u>''Rage Indicator:''</u> Green smoke is released from its mouth.

*When enraged, Gboro-Gboros become faster, more aggressive and have an increased tendency to rush at his targets and bite them.

*They can also shoot their projectiles at a much faster rate than normal while enraged; keep this in mind.

*Whenever they use their four-hit arm fin combo attack while enraged, they will also shoot projectiles from their cannon.

*Gboro-Gboro's swirling green whirlpool attack will have a larger area of effect when used while enraged.

*<u>''Fang:''</u> Using Short Blades with a high pierce stat can easily break a Gboro-Gboro's fang. Just make sure to use square attacks and not to stand too close when melee attacking its mouth as you might hit the torso instead. Shot and Laser type spark elemental bullets are also effective, especially the advanced piercing bullets.

*<u>''Torso:''</u> Attacking the torso using Short Blades with high pierce stats can easily break it. Advanced piercing or radial spark elemental bullets will also work well.

*<u>''Back Fin:''</u> Spark elemental shot or laser type bullets are the best way to break the back fin. You can manually aim it or use homing bullets/"Control: Face enemy" modules for easier targeting.

'''Other Useful Tips:'''<div class="mw-collapsible-content">

*<u>''Weak Points:''</u> You can inflict '''Down''' on a Gboro-Gboro by continuously attacking the following parts:

**Arm Fins using sunder and crush melee attacks (Long & Buster Blade).

**Torso using pierce melee attacks (Short Blade).

**Torso using spark elemental shot/laser bullets.

*Gboro-Gboros usually stagger when their back fin and cannon have been hit by its weaknesses.

*There is an opening for a devour attack whenever a Gboro-Gboro is aiming for its projectile attacks.

*When their HP are low, Gboro Gboros tend to run away by swimming through the waterways present on the map. Stay away from areas with water as much as possible.

*Gboro-Gboros have average hearing and vision range.

*Gboro-Gboros will spam their swirling green whirlpool attack whenever the player is on higher ground.

Gboro-Gboro is a medium sized crocodile-like Aragami, first introduced in God Eater.

Norn Database

The following information can also be found via descriptions of the Aragami found in the NORN Terminal's database.

God Eater Burst

Amphibian Aragami bearing huge fins and a head. Looks like an alligator. Shoots multiple water spheres from a turret-shaped protuberance. despite appearing sluggish, it can move quite fast. first appeared on the southeastern Eurasian continent. The water spheres shot can cover a wide range, and its biting power is strong. Avoid head-on combat, and stay alert even when you're behind its back.

God Eater 2 Rage Burst/Resurrection

An aquatic Aragami with massive fins, head, and chin. It can fire multiple balls of liquid from its cannon-like snout. It is at home on both land and in the water, and is surprisingly fast. Native to southeast Eurasian coastal areas. The range of its shots is huge and the strength of its jaws make attacking its head-on a fool's errand. Additionally, it can spin quickly and violently to face attackers behind it.

ATK Element: Freeze

Weaknesses: Blaze, Spark

God Eater 3

A mid-sized aquatic aragami with massive fins and head, and a stiff chin. It can fire multiple balls of liquid from its cannon-like snout. It is at home on both land and in the water, and despite its appearance, is surprisingly fast on land. The range of its shots is huge and the strength of its jaws make attacking its head-on a fool's errand. Additionally, it can spin quickly and violently to face attackers behind it.

ATK Element: Freeze

Weaknesses: Blaze, Spark

Additional Information

  • It is considered among the easiest Aragami to fight, but that doesn't mean you should neglect it as a minor threat, especially when fought in a group on an enclosed stage (e.g. Gboro-Gboro Panic DLC Mission in God Eater Burst).
  • Though it looks like a fish, it is capable of moving very fast while on land.
  • In God Eater 2, it gains the ability to artillery enemies from a very long distance. Its defense attributes also have noticeably increased.
  • Gboro-Gboro was given one of Kabbala-Kabbala's attack in God Eater Resurrection.
