The story is set after certain people return from a mission in Europe (some time before God Eater 2).

- Tsubaki Amamiya - Lindow's elder sister and former first generation God Eater.
- Lydia Yurievuna Pazaroba (リディア・ユーリエヴナ・パザロヴァ) - A guest character who first appeared in the novel Alisa in Underworld.
- Kota Fujiki - The current 1st Unit's Leader.
- Sakuya Tachibana (now Sakuya Amamiya)- A former Sniper and Lindow's wife who has withdrawn from the front lines to raise their child, Ren.
- Dr. Paylor Sakaki - The current Far East Branch Director and a famous scientist on Aragami.
