Grim Anubis is an AdaptiveAragami introduced in God Eater 3. It is a wild, god-like Aragami, a ferocious beast covered in shining silver armor, a chilling counterpart of the divine Anubis. It overpowers its targets with its heavyweight armor. Like its original counterpart, Grim Anubis, can Burst to transition from walking on four legs to walking on two legs and completely change its attack pattern, even gaining the ability to prolong its beam attacks and spew it around, making it hard to escape it if you are in the attack's proximity.

God Eater 3
A silvery Adaptive Aragami whose very presence can turn the land into a frozen hellscape. Found inhabiting Level 1 Restricted Ash Zones.
Nothing can match the sheer viciousness of this monster. It mercilessly destroys anything in its path, leaving only death in its wake. Even the most elite God Eaters, men and women who have fought off death time and time again, will find that this foe is like none they have ever faced before.
-Summary of Activated Abilities/Devour Attacks The power of its cold attacks increases and they now inflict Leak. Just like with the Ashborn Anubis, it bears vicious fangs and tenaciously pursues its chosen target, attempting to devour them. After Bursting, it fires cold blasts wildly, making extreme caution a necessity.
Grim Anubis is found in Assault Missions "Operation Oracle" and "Operation Apocalypse"
Its species name was that of the Egyptian god of mummification and the afterlife. He had a jackal's head, and was responsible for using the weighing scale of souls, where the recent dead were judged and deemed worthy or unworthy of an afterlife.
Out of all the Adaptive Aragami, Grim Anubis has the most weakspots once all of its breakable bonds are broken, having a total of 3 (4 if it is in Burst Mode since the core counts as a weakspot). It is one of the Aragami with the most weakspots in the entire franchise. This trait is also shared by its normal counterpart, Anubis, compared to the other Ashborns.
Grim Anubis is the only Adaptive Aragami that has a completely different moveset in Burst Mode in comparison to other Adaptives in which they retain some of their movesets from their normal mode, just like their Ashborn counterparts.
Grim Anubis is the only Anubis type that inflicts debuffs in Burst Mode, inflicting the leak debuff.
Grim Anubis is the only Ash Aragami that has double resistance (OO) to every element aside from its weakness element.
