Variant Differences:
  • Megiddo Odin does not have the multiple phases of the initial Odin fight and also does not have any form of devour attack. This makes it the only Adaptive that cannot inflict corruption.
  • However, it can inflict multiple other debuffs.
  • Has access to all of Odin's attacks from the beginning of the fight.

Buster Blade

Recommended Burst Arts:

  • Overkill is fairly easy to land on the forelegs due to Megiddo Odin's lack of mobility. When fully charged, it can deal immense armour piercing damage.

Boost Hammer

Recommended Burst Arts:

  • Heat Drive can be used fairly reliably to deal very potent damage to the forelegs.
  • Stigmata allows you to maintain airtime and gain a little bit of additional height, making it ideal for striking Meggido Odin's head when not close to the ground.

Variant Scythe

  • WIP

Recommended Burst Arts:

  • WIP
  • Heaven or Hell works great on the Forelegs due to their size and Megiddo Odin's slow speed. As long as you can get the timing consistently you can deal Great damage and break the forelegs faster, leaving the head exposed and granting additional rewards.
  • Fanatic's Scythe is one of the best ways to strike the head while Meggido Odin is not knocked down. Not only can it deal high damage, it also steadily increases your height.

Biting Edge

  • WIP

Recommended Burst Arts:

  • WIP
  • Halo Assault allows you to deal large amounts of damage to the forelegs and rapidly recover OP. Since the forelegs are very large and relatively immobile. You can plant yourself in one place for long periods of time without needing to reposition.
  • Petal Blizzard is very easy to maintain due to Megiddo Odin's size and lack of mobility.

Heavy Moon

  • WIP

Reccomended Burst Arts:

  • Moonlit Dawn can decimate Megiddo Odin, given that it has a very big opening for some of its attacks which allows you to use the Burst Art to its maximum potential.

Gun Attacking Tips:

General

  • Long ranged bullets are the most reliable way to hit Megiddo Odin's head when it is not knocked down, making them the best way to break the head in most situations.
  • Once Broken, the head is weak to Oracle pierce so pierce bullets are the preferred option.
  • WIP

Assault

  • WIP

Sniper

  • Snipers have the easiest time hitting Megiddo Odin's head since Sniper shots are fast and have long enough range to hit the head even at its highest point. Since this is the most vulnerable area, it is the ideal place to aim for when at a distance.
  • WIP
  • The Head becomes a weakpoint to pierce bullets once broken, opening up an avenue for Sniper critical shots.

Shotgun

  • Due to it's limited range, shooting the head while Megiddo Odin is mobile is out of the question. Shots should therefore be focused on the forelegs until the head is close to the ground from knockdowns.

Unbounding Tips:

Head

  • The head is most vulnerable point but can be difficult to hit consistently due to it's height above the ground.
  • Clever use of your double jump and dives can allow you to hit the head somewhat reliably, especially with Burst arts that keep you airborne or increase your elevation.
  • The head becomes more readily exposed after several of Meggido Odin's stronger attacks or when it is knocked down so it may be wise to break a foreleg first if you can't readily reach the head.

Right Foreleg

Left Foreleg

Attacks:

  • Colossal Charge: Meggido Odin boosts forwards, damaging anything in it's path. Due to it's size, it will often end up near the opposite end of the map.
  • Twin Spear Summoning: Megiddo Odin will slowly summon two spears from portals behind it and then Slam them into the ground. Creating a massive shock-wave upon impact.
  • WIP
  • Imperial Storm: Megiddo Odin Summons Lasers from the Sky in a manner similar to Burst Anubis' Imperial Rain. The lasers strike random locations and the point of impact is indicated by Red markings on the ground
  • Shot Swarm: Portal like objects Circle around Megiddo Odin's lower body, firing large projectiles that can inflict numerous debuffs if they hit.
