Sakuya Tachibana is a character introduced in God Eater Burst. She is a veteran Sniper. After she married with Lindow Amamiya, she took on his surname Amamiya.
Biography
God Eater Burst
Through the game, Sakuya plays the role of support in and out of combat. She is very emotional when it comes to the subject of Lindow; she is openly distraught when he goes missing and constantly worries (though this doesn't affect her combat ability), while when evidence points to his status as alive, she expresses joy and hope. It can be said she overreacts slightly when such evidence is presented.
God Eater 2
Three years after Sakuya's marriage to Lindow, her name has been changed into Sakuya Amamiya. Sakuya and Lindow have a child named Ren. Although she doesn't appear in the game itself, in God Eater 2 Rage Burst, she is listed in the NORN, which says that she is on maternity leave, but a lot have been wanting her to come back to the front lines. However, the higher-ups seem to want her to come back as an instructor instead.

Personality
Sakuya is a dependable senior member who gets everyone together peacefully. She has a strong sense of responsibility for Lindow, which may be the result of a secret longing. She is still agonizing from a choice she was forced to make in the past.

- Alisa Illinichina Amiela - After Alisa's mental breakdown and recovery, they seem to become friends.
- [Kota Fujiki] - At first, Kota tries to impress her in the battlefield. Though after some events, he stopped doing this and just treated her as a friend.
- [Soma Shicksal] - They seem to talk only at certain times in-game due to Soma ending each chat as quick as he could. Although, they seem to be on friendly terms
- Protagonist (God Eater) - Sakuya owes a lot to them due to them bringing Lindow back, and protecting the branch from any harm.
Trivia
- Sakuya, along with the Protagonist, are the only 1st Unit members who did not appear in God Eater 2.
