Notes on Status Effects[]


  • Status Effects are the temporary effects that may benefit/harm you and/or the Aragami.
  • These effects can be caused by Player/Aragami attacks, bullets, skills or items.
  • Aragami resistance against most status effects (except Down and Enraged) increases as they are inflicted with it. They will also become immune to any given status ailment after being repeatedly being inflicted with it (normally about 5-6 times of infliction). This also depends on their innate resistance, which can be viewed in the Aragami pages.

Player Status Effects[]

Burst
  • Devouring an alive Aragami. [GEB Only]
  • Wrath of Revenge, Beloved and Friendship skills.
  • Burst Inducer Consumable Items.
The following are the effects of Burst:


  • Increased Step Distance and Speed.
  • Grants Mid-Air Jump ability.
  • Decreased Stamina Consumption.
  • Blade Attack Power and Attack Speed Up.
  • Debuff Attack ↑ for Short Blades.
  • Impulse Edge OP Cost ↓ for Long Blades.
  • Charge Speed ↑ for Buster Blades.
  • Charge Speed ↑ for Charge Spears. GE2 Only
  • Passive OP Recovery (1 OP per Second).
  • Knockback Down.
  • Overall Exposure ↓.
  • Activation of equipped Burst Skill effects.



Notes:

  • All effects of Burst, except for Mid-Air Jump and Increased Step Distance, stack with other items and skills with similar effects.
  • This status effect is replaced by Link-Burst Level 1 in God Eater 2.
Link-Burst
  • Passed Aragami Bullets from allies.
  • Blood Arts.
  • Devouring an alive Aragami (from GE2 on).
Has the same effects as Burst except with the following improvements:


  • Decreased Stamina Consumption (Improves as level of Link-Burst Increases).
  • Impulse Edge OP Cost Down for Long Blades (Improves as level of Link-Burst Increases).
  • Passive OP Recovery (1, 2, 3 OP per Second depending on the level of Link-Burst).
  • Grants ability to fire the passed on Aragami Bullet with increased damage and size (increases depending on the level of Link-Burst).
  • Improved effects of equipped Burst Skills.



Notes:

  • Link-Burst status overrides Burst status. [GEB Only]
  • Passed on Aragami Bullet changes depending on the gun type of the receiving character.
  • Not all Burst Skill effects improve as the level of Link-Burst increases.
Aragami Abilities [GE3 Only]
  • Devouring an alive Aragami.

Gives bullets a 10% damage increase against the most recent aragami devoured. Target aragami changes automatically when a different aragami is devoured.

Notes:

  • Indicated by a red icon next to your bullet icons and on the most recently devoured Aragami during aim mode.
  • Only wears off once Burst runs out.
  • The Wonder Acceleration Trigger increases this boost to 20%-30% (depending on the level) and The Mutation Acceleration Trigger applies the standard Aragami Ability boost to melee attacks.
Attack Up/Down
Attack Up/Down +
  • Up/Down: Increases/Decreases Overall Attack Power for a fixed time.
  • Up/Down +: Greatly Increases/Decreases Overall Attack Power for a fixed time.
  • Attack Up/Down and Attack Up/Down + status can stack with each other.
  • This ailment is independent from the Attack Up/Down skills and can stack with them.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack and/or item used.
  • The Clear Mind Plugin can prevent attack down. [GE3 Only]
Defense Up/Down
Defense Up/Down +
  • Up/Down: Increases/Decreases Overall Defense for a fixed time.
  • Up/Down +: Greatly Increases/Decreases Overall Defense for a fixed time.
  • Defense Up/Down and Defense Up/Down + status can stack with each other.
  • This ailment is independent from the Exposure Up/Down skills and can stack with them.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack and/or item used.
  • The Clear Mind Plugin can prevent defense down. [GE3 Only]
Jamming
  • Prevents player from tracking Aragami in the map for a fixed time. This makes the HP Vision/Cardiograph skill useless until the debuff wears off.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack.
  • Can be cured using Anti-Jamming Dose or Remedy Consumable items.
  • Can be prevented by equipping the Jamming Resistance, Jamming Immunity and/or (B) Resist Debuff skills.
  • The Clear Mind Plugin can prevent jamming. [GE3 Only]
Targeted
  • Makes player the target of all Aragami in the vicinity.
Venom
Deadly Venom
  • Venom: Loses HP per second for a fixed time.
  • Deadly Venom: Greatly loses HP per second for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack.
  • Players cannot die from this status ailment.
  • Can be cured using Detox Pill or Remedy Consumable items.
  • Can be prevented by equipping the Venom Resistance, Venom Immunity and/or (B) Resist Debuff skills.
  • Automatic Recovery can cancel out the debuff.
  • The Clear Mind Plugin can prevent venom. [GE3 Only]
Leak
Fatal Leak
  • Leak: Loses OP per second for a fixed time.
  • Fatal Leak: Greatly Loses OP per second for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack.
  • Can be cured using Anti-Leak Dose or Remedy Consumable items.
  • Can be prevented by equipping the Leak Resistance, Leak Immunity and/or (B) Resist Debuff skills.
  • The Clear Mind Plugin can prevent leak. [GE3 Only]
Stun
  • Unable to move for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack.
  • Players are instantly cured from this ailment when they receive an attack from any source.
  • Can be prevented by equipping the Stun Resistance, Stun Immunity and/or (B) Resist Debuff skills.
  • The Clear Mind Plugin can prevent stun. [GE3 Only]
Unconciousness/Incapacitated
  • Depletion of HP to 0.
  • Player is unable to move and is immune to all attacks. A 30s counter starts until the player respawns.
  • Can be cured by link-aid from other players.
  • If not revived by other players within 30 seconds, the player will use up 1 of 2 respawns and will appear at the start point.
  • If the player runs out of respawns and is knocked into unconciousness, the mission is failed (In Multiplayer, this applies to all players, not just one).
Conserve Stamina
  • Conserves stamina after each action for a fixed time.
  • Can stack with other similar skills and status effects.

Sensitive
[GEB Only]   

  • Players can see all Aragami in the map for a fixed time.
  • Has the same effect as Sensitive skill.
Disguise Scent
  • Disguise Scent Consumable Items.
  • Jester Acceletartion Triggers
  • Avoids the enemy's attention for a fixed time.
Taunting Scent
  • Taunting Scent Consumable Items.
  • Performer Acceleration Triggers
  • Lures the enemy's attention for a fixed time.
Corrupted

[GE3 Only]

  • Ashborn Devour Attacks
  • Damage Taken: Corruption Ash Anomly in the Crimson Ashlands.
  • Players are more vulnerable to Aragami attacks.
  • Corrupted players can't receive support from others such as link aids (forcing them to respawn if they get incapacitated) and link burst. Only healing bullets or restore posts can be used to support corrupted allies.
  • The only defuff that can't be ridden. Only time will cure players of this debuff.

Venom
  • Aragami Loses HP per second for a fixed time.
  • The damage is a percentage of the Aragami's current HP.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami's resistance.
  • Aragami cannot die from this status ailment.
Hold
  • Aragami will be unable to move/attack for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami's resistance.
  • The Down status ailment overrides this one.
Bind
  • Aragami will be unable to perform certain attacks for a fixed time.
  • Aragami attack power and defense are reduced.[GE3 Only]
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami's resistance.
  • Neutralizes Ashwrought Healing [GE3 Only]
Defense Down  
  • Certain Blood Bullets.
  • Temporarily reduces the defense attributes of the inflicted Aragami.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami's resistance.
Enraged
  • Continuously attacking the Aragami.
  • Unbounding Parts.
  • Has various effects depending on the Aragami. Common effects are increased speed and aggressiveness, new attacks, etc. (See Aragami Pages for more info).
  • Can be cured by the passage of time or when the Aragami runs away to devour at salvage points.
Down
  • Attacking an Aragami's "Weak Points"
  • Bond Breaks[GE3 Only]
  • Aragami will be in a vulnerable stance and is unable to move/attack for a fixed time.
  • View the Aragami pages "Other Tips Section" for more info on how to inflict this status effect.
  • Can only be cured by the passage of time.
  • Down overrides Hold status effect.
  • Aragami do not develop resistance to this status effect.
Burst

[GE3 Only]

  • Successful Devours on God Eaters
  • An Ashborn exclusive status effect.
  • Ashborns will have higher attack damage and speed, as well as gaining new access to Burst exclusive attacks, and modifications for their base attacks.
  • Exposes the Core, which is an Aragami's weakest spot.
  • Lasts for 60 seconds (with the exception of Permaburst Ashborns where they will not go out of their Burst status).
  • Burst Duration can be reduced through devours. Charged devours will cut the duration by 10 seconds while quick, aerial, combo and step devours will cut the duration by 3 seconds.
