Notes on Status Effects


  • Status Effects are the temporary effects may benefit/harm you and/or the Aragami.
  • These effects can be caused by Player/Aragami attacks, bullets, skills or items.
  • Aragami resistance against status effects (except Down) increases as they are inflicted by it.
  • They will also become immune to the status ailment after being numerously being inflicted by it. (Standard is about 5-6 times before immunity). This also depends on their innate resistance which can be viewed in the Aragami pages.

Player Status Effects

Name Caused by Notes and Effects
Burst
  • Devouring an Alive Aragami.
  • Wrath of Revenge skill.
  • Burst Inducer Consumable Items.
The following are the effects of Burst:
  • Increased Step Distance and Speed.
  • Grants Mid-Air Jump ability.
  • Decrease Stamina Consumption.
  • Blade Attack Power and Attack Speed Up.
  • Debuff Attack Up for Short Blades.
  • Impulse Edge OP Cost Down for Long Blades.
  • Charge Speed Up for Buster Blades.
  • Passive OP Recovery (1 OP per Second).
  • Knockback Down.
  • Overall Exposure Down.
  • Activation of equipped Burst Skill effects.

Note: All effects of Burst, except for Mid-Air Jump and Increased Step Distance, stack other items and skills with similar effects.

Link-Burst
  • Passed Aragami Bullets from allies.
Has the same effects with Burst except with the following improvements:
  • Decreased Stamina Consumption (Improves as level of Link-Burst Increases).
  • Impulse Edge OP Cost Down for Long Blades (Improves as level of Link-Burst Increases).
  • Passive OP Recovery (1, 2, 3 OP per Second depending on the level of Link-Burst).
  • Grants ability to Fire the passed on Aragami Bullet with increased damage (Damage increases depending on the level of Link-Burst).
  • Improved effects of equipped Burst Skills.

Notes:

  • Link-Burst status overrides Burst status.
  • Not all Burst Skill effects improve as the level of Link-Burst increases.
Attack Up/Down
Attack Up/Down +
  • Up/Down: Increases/Decreases Overall Attack Power for a fixed time.
  • Up/Down +: Greatly Increases/Decreases Overall Attack Power for a fixed time.
  • Only once instance of this status can exist per character.
  • Getting inflicted with the opposite effect will "cure" the status ailment.
  • Getting inflicted with the stronger/weaker opposite effect will override the existing ailment.
  • This ailment is different from the Attack Up/Down skills and can stack with them.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack and/or item used.
Defense Up/Down
Defense Up/Down +
  • Up/Down: Increases/Decreases Overall Defense for a fixed time.
  • Up/Down +: Greatly Increases/Decreases Overall Defense for a fixed time.
  • Only once instance of this status can exist per character.
  • Getting inflicted with the opposite effect will "cure" the status ailment.
  • Getting inflicted with the stronger/weaker opposite effect will override the existing ailment.
  • This ailment is different from the Exposure Up/Down skills and can stack with them.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack and/or item used.
Jamming
  • Prevents player from tracking Aragami in the map for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack.
  • Can be cured using Anti-Jamming Dose and Remedy [Consumable] items.
  • Can be prevented by equipping the Jamming Resistance, Jamming Immunity and/or (B) Resist Debuff skills.
Venom
Deadly Venom
  • Venom: Loses HP per second for a fixed time.
  • Deadly Venom: Greatly Loses HP per second for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack.
  • Players cannot die from this status ailment.
  • Can be cured using Detox Pill and Remedy [Consumable] items.
  • Can be prevented by equipping the Venom Resistance, Venom Immunity and/or (B) Resist Debuff skills.
Leak
Fatal Leak
  • Leak: Loses OP per second for a fixed time.
  • Fatal Leak: Greatly Loses OP per second for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack.
  • Can be cured using Anti-Leak Dose and Remedy [Consumable] items.
  • Can be prevented by equipping the Leak Resistance, Leak Immunity and/or (B) Resist Debuff skills.
Stun
  • Unable to move for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami attack.
  • Players are cured from this ailment when they receive an attack from any source.
  • Can be prevented by equipping the Stun Resistance, Stun Immunity and/or (B) Resist Debuff skills.
Unconciousness
  • Delpletion of HP to 0.
  • Player is unable to move and is immune to all attacks. A 30s counter starts until the player respawns.
  • Can be cured by link-aid from other players.
  • If not revived by other players within 30 seconds, the player will use up 1 of 2 respawns and will appear at the start point.
  • If the player runs out of respawns and is killed, the mission is failed.
Conserve Stamina
  • Conserves stamina after each action for a fixed time.
  • Can stack with other similar skills and status effects.
Sensitive
  • Players can see all Aragami in the map for a fixed time.
  • Has the same effect with Sensitive skill.
Disguise Scent
  • Avoids the enemy's attention for a fixed time.
Taunting Scent
  • Lures the enemy's attention for a fixed time.

Aragami Status Effects

Name Caused by Notes and Effects
Venom
  • Aragami Loses HP per second for a fixed time.
  • The damage is a percentage of the Aragami's current HP.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami's resistance.
  • Aragami cannot die from this status ailment.
Hold
  • Aragami will be unable to move/attack for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami's resistance.
  • The Down status ailment overrides this one.
Bind
  • Aragami will be unable to perform certain attacks for a fixed time.
  • The duration of this effect depends on the Aragami's resistance.
Enraged
  • Attacking the Aragami Continuously.
  • Unbounding Parts.
  • Has various effects depending on the Aragami. Common effects are increased speed and aggressiveness, New attacks, etc. (See Aragami Pages for more info).
  • Can be cured by the passage of time or when the Aragami runs away to devour at salvage points.
Down
  • Aragami will be in a vulnerable stance and is unable to move/attack for a fixed time.
  • View the Aragami pages "Other Tips Section" for more info on how to inflict this status effect.
  • Can be cured by the passage of time.
  • Down overrides Hold status effect.
  • Aragami do not develop resistance to this status effect.
