Aragami Information
Tsukuyomi is a deusphage and large sized human-like Aragami, first introduced in God Eater. Just like all deusphages, it was introduced as DLC content. The Tsukuyomi returns in the other games as a regular Aragami.
Norn Database
The following information is taken from the offical in-game descriptions of the Aragami found in the NORN Terminal's database.
God Eater Burst
A Type 1 Deusphage. Contrary to its delicate looks, this Aragami has overwhelming power. Its laser and light shots can burn away large areas, and its body-whip attack can deal a mortal blow. Origin Unknown, as with Susano'o and Amaterasu.

Its only weakness is the moon halo floating behind its head. Spark attacks are suggested.

God Eater Resurrection & God Eater 2 Rage Burst
A Type 1 Deusphage. Its slender form belies a devastating level of power. While it oddly does not attack unless struck first, once it becomes aggressive, it delivers a barrage of deadly Oracle-based attacks. The moon halo at its back is fragile and should be considered a priority target.

ATK Element : Divine

Weaknesses : Spark

Additional Information
  • Tsukuyomi is the moon god in Shinto and Japanese mythology.
  • This Aragami is essentially an Arda Nova without the God form hovering behind her; treat any battles against it as such.
  • The Tsukuyomi is assumed to be female, if Aragami actually have genders. However, it lacks most distinguishing features of such, only possessing the general curvature.
  • Originally, Tsukuyomi was to premiere with a God component. In the end, it was scraped, likely because the focus was more on the moon rather than cybernetics.
  • In God Eater 2, Tsukuyomi has a short-term memory, meaning that it won't remember your presence if you're behind its back for a while. Also, it has stand-by mode, in which it won't move, but instead will gradually increase its eye sight.
  • Tsukuyomi can speak just like Arda Nova, only in God Eater Burst.
